EChange Capital

Since 2002, EChange Capital has been offering managed foreign exchange products as an alternative vehicle for investors seeking diversification from their current equity and fixed income portfolios. EChange is registered as a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

The manager's methodology consists of using pattern recognition based on Elliott Wave Theory, in conjuction with momentum oscillators. EChange investment approach is short term, opportunistic and discretionary, and executes trades only when specific proprietary criteria have been met. Once determined, the manager enters the market with a directional bias in what he believes to be the best short term trend for the next hours. Trades will go with the trend or contra-trend depending on market conditions. The trades will last anywhere between less than one hour, to one or two days.

All trading decisions are supported by disciplined risk and money management controls. Every position is rigorously protected by stop-loss orders on a 24-hour basis, while profitable positions are managed to maximize benefits by using trailing stops.
